How To Uninstall mitools On Debian 8

To uninstall mitools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mitools

view, convert and perform basic maths with medical image datasetsDebian 8.0science1.8.8-1
sudo apt-get remove mitools

This will remove just the mitools package itself.

Uninstall mitools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mitools

This will remove the mitools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mitools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mitools

Or similarly, like this mitools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mitools
