How To Uninstall mk-configure On Debian 8

To uninstall mk-configure just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mk-configure

lightweight replacement for GNU autotoolsDebian 8.0devel0.28.0-1
sudo apt-get remove mk-configure

This will remove just the mk-configure package itself.

Uninstall mk-configure and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mk-configure

This will remove the mk-configure package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mk-configure then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mk-configure

Or similarly, like this mk-configure

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mk-configure
