How To Uninstall mmass-modules On Debian 8

To uninstall mmass-modules just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mmass-modules

Mass spectrometry tool for proteomics - extension modulesDebian 8.0science5.5.0-4
sudo apt-get remove mmass-modules

This will remove just the mmass-modules package itself.

Uninstall mmass-modules and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mmass-modules

This will remove the mmass-modules package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mmass-modules then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mmass-modules

Or similarly, like this mmass-modules

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mmass-modules
