How To Uninstall mnemosyne-blog On Debian 8

To uninstall mnemosyne-blog just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mnemosyne-blog

Maildir-to-blog compiler with XML templating and Python extensionsDebian 8.0web0.12-2
sudo apt-get remove mnemosyne-blog

This will remove just the mnemosyne-blog package itself.

Uninstall mnemosyne-blog and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mnemosyne-blog

This will remove the mnemosyne-blog package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mnemosyne-blog then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mnemosyne-blog

Or similarly, like this mnemosyne-blog

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mnemosyne-blog
