How To Uninstall mobyle-utils On Debian 8

To uninstall mobyle-utils just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mobyle-utils

binary tools used by MobyleDebian 8.0science1.5.3+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove mobyle-utils

This will remove just the mobyle-utils package itself.

Uninstall mobyle-utils and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mobyle-utils

This will remove the mobyle-utils package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mobyle-utils then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mobyle-utils

Or similarly, like this mobyle-utils

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mobyle-utils
