How To Uninstall moc-ffmpeg-plugin On Debian 8

To uninstall moc-ffmpeg-plugin just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just moc-ffmpeg-plugin

ncurses based console audio player - ffmpeg pluginDebian 8.0sound1:2.5.0-1
sudo apt-get remove moc-ffmpeg-plugin

This will remove just the moc-ffmpeg-plugin package itself.

Uninstall moc-ffmpeg-plugin and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove moc-ffmpeg-plugin

This will remove the moc-ffmpeg-plugin package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for moc-ffmpeg-plugin then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge moc-ffmpeg-plugin

Or similarly, like this moc-ffmpeg-plugin

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove moc-ffmpeg-plugin
