How To Uninstall mock On Debian 8

To uninstall mock just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mock

Build rpm packages inside a chrootDebian 8.0devel1.1.33-1
sudo apt-get remove mock

This will remove just the mock package itself.

Uninstall mock and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mock

This will remove the mock package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mock then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mock

Or similarly, like this mock

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mock
