How To Uninstall modem-manager-gui-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall modem-manager-gui-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just modem-manager-gui-dbg

GUI front-end for ModemManager / Wader / oFono - debugging symbolsDebian 8.0debug0.0.17.1-2
sudo apt-get remove modem-manager-gui-dbg

This will remove just the modem-manager-gui-dbg package itself.

Uninstall modem-manager-gui-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove modem-manager-gui-dbg

This will remove the modem-manager-gui-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for modem-manager-gui-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge modem-manager-gui-dbg

Or similarly, like this modem-manager-gui-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove modem-manager-gui-dbg
