How To Uninstall molly-guard On Debian 8

To uninstall molly-guard just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just molly-guard

protects machines from accidental shutdowns/rebootsDebian 8.0admin0.4.5-1.1
sudo apt-get remove molly-guard

This will remove just the molly-guard package itself.

Uninstall molly-guard and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove molly-guard

This will remove the molly-guard package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for molly-guard then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge molly-guard

Or similarly, like this molly-guard

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove molly-guard
