How To Uninstall monkeystudio-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall monkeystudio-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just monkeystudio-dbg

Qt 4 Integrated Development Environment (IDE) - debug symbolsDebian 8.0debug1.9.0.4-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove monkeystudio-dbg

This will remove just the monkeystudio-dbg package itself.

Uninstall monkeystudio-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove monkeystudio-dbg

This will remove the monkeystudio-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for monkeystudio-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge monkeystudio-dbg

Or similarly, like this monkeystudio-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove monkeystudio-dbg
