How To Uninstall mono-2.0-service On Debian 8

To uninstall mono-2.0-service just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mono-2.0-service

Mono service manager for CLI 2.0Debian 8.0cli-mono3.2.8+dfsg-10
sudo apt-get remove mono-2.0-service

This will remove just the mono-2.0-service package itself.

Uninstall mono-2.0-service and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mono-2.0-service

This will remove the mono-2.0-service package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mono-2.0-service then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mono-2.0-service

Or similarly, like this mono-2.0-service

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mono-2.0-service
