How To Uninstall mono-profiler On Debian 8

To uninstall mono-profiler just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mono-profiler

Mono profilerDebian 8.0cli-mono3.10-1
sudo apt-get remove mono-profiler

This will remove just the mono-profiler package itself.

Uninstall mono-profiler and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mono-profiler

This will remove the mono-profiler package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mono-profiler then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mono-profiler

Or similarly, like this mono-profiler

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mono-profiler
