How To Uninstall mono-tools-gui On Debian 8

To uninstall mono-tools-gui just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mono-tools-gui

Various GUI tools for monoDebian 8.0cli-mono3.10-1
sudo apt-get remove mono-tools-gui

This will remove just the mono-tools-gui package itself.

Uninstall mono-tools-gui and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mono-tools-gui

This will remove the mono-tools-gui package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mono-tools-gui then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mono-tools-gui

Or similarly, like this mono-tools-gui

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mono-tools-gui
