How To Uninstall mono-upnp-bin On Debian 8

To uninstall mono-upnp-bin just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mono-upnp-bin

client/server libraries for UPnP -- executablesDebian 8.0cli-mono0.1.2-2
sudo apt-get remove mono-upnp-bin

This will remove just the mono-upnp-bin package itself.

Uninstall mono-upnp-bin and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mono-upnp-bin

This will remove the mono-upnp-bin package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mono-upnp-bin then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mono-upnp-bin

Or similarly, like this mono-upnp-bin

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mono-upnp-bin
