How To Uninstall mono-xsp2-base On Debian 8

To uninstall mono-xsp2-base just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mono-xsp2-base

base libraries for XSP 2.0Debian 8.0cli-mono3.8-2.1
sudo apt-get remove mono-xsp2-base

This will remove just the mono-xsp2-base package itself.

Uninstall mono-xsp2-base and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mono-xsp2-base

This will remove the mono-xsp2-base package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mono-xsp2-base then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mono-xsp2-base

Or similarly, like this mono-xsp2-base

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mono-xsp2-base
