How To Uninstall monodevelop-monogame On Debian 8

To uninstall monodevelop-monogame just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just monodevelop-monogame

Free implementation of XNA - IDE integrationDebian 8.0devel2.5.1+dfsg-4
sudo apt-get remove monodevelop-monogame

This will remove just the monodevelop-monogame package itself.

Uninstall monodevelop-monogame and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove monodevelop-monogame

This will remove the monodevelop-monogame package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for monodevelop-monogame then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge monodevelop-monogame

Or similarly, like this monodevelop-monogame

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove monodevelop-monogame
