How To Uninstall mopidy-alsamixer On Debian 8

To uninstall mopidy-alsamixer just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mopidy-alsamixer

Mopidy extension for extension for ALSA volume controlDebian 8.0sound1.0.3-1
sudo apt-get remove mopidy-alsamixer

This will remove just the mopidy-alsamixer package itself.

Uninstall mopidy-alsamixer and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mopidy-alsamixer

This will remove the mopidy-alsamixer package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mopidy-alsamixer then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mopidy-alsamixer

Or similarly, like this mopidy-alsamixer

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mopidy-alsamixer
