How To Uninstall morse2ascii On Debian 8

To uninstall morse2ascii just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just morse2ascii

tool for decoding the morse codes from a PCM WAV fileDebian 8.0hamradio0.2+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove morse2ascii

This will remove just the morse2ascii package itself.

Uninstall morse2ascii and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove morse2ascii

This will remove the morse2ascii package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for morse2ascii then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge morse2ascii

Or similarly, like this morse2ascii

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove morse2ascii
