How To Uninstall mountpy On Debian 8

To uninstall mountpy just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mountpy

sudo apt-get remove mountpy

This will remove just the mountpy package itself.

Uninstall mountpy and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mountpy

This will remove the mountpy package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mountpy then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mountpy

Or similarly, like this mountpy

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mountpy
