How To Uninstall mozc-server On Debian 8

To uninstall mozc-server just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mozc-server

Server of the Mozc input methodDebian 8.0utils1.15.1857.102-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove mozc-server

This will remove just the mozc-server package itself.

Uninstall mozc-server and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mozc-server

This will remove the mozc-server package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mozc-server then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mozc-server

Or similarly, like this mozc-server

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mozc-server
