How To Uninstall mozplugger On Debian 8

To uninstall mozplugger just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mozplugger

Plugin allowing external viewers to be launched inside MozillaDebian 8.0web1.14.5-2
sudo apt-get remove mozplugger

This will remove just the mozplugger package itself.

Uninstall mozplugger and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mozplugger

This will remove the mozplugger package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mozplugger then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mozplugger

Or similarly, like this mozplugger

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mozplugger
