How To Uninstall mp3diags On Debian 8

To uninstall mp3diags just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mp3diags

find issues in MP3 files and help to solve themDebian 8.0sound1.2.01-1
sudo apt-get remove mp3diags

This will remove just the mp3diags package itself.

Uninstall mp3diags and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mp3diags

This will remove the mp3diags package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mp3diags then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mp3diags

Or similarly, like this mp3diags

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mp3diags
