How To Uninstall mp3splt On Debian 8

To uninstall mp3splt just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mp3splt

command line interface to split MP3 and Ogg Vorbis files without reencodingDebian 8.0sound2.4.2-2
sudo apt-get remove mp3splt

This will remove just the mp3splt package itself.

Uninstall mp3splt and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mp3splt

This will remove the mp3splt package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mp3splt then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mp3splt

Or similarly, like this mp3splt

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mp3splt
