How To Uninstall mpd-sima On Debian 8

To uninstall mpd-sima just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mpd-sima

Automagically add titles to MPD playlistDebian 8.0sound0.10.0-2
sudo apt-get remove mpd-sima

This will remove just the mpd-sima package itself.

Uninstall mpd-sima and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mpd-sima

This will remove the mpd-sima package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mpd-sima then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mpd-sima

Or similarly, like this mpd-sima

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mpd-sima
