How To Uninstall mpv-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall mpv-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mpv-dbg

video player based on MPlayer/mplayer2 (debug)Debian 8.0debug0.6.2-2
sudo apt-get remove mpv-dbg

This will remove just the mpv-dbg package itself.

Uninstall mpv-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mpv-dbg

This will remove the mpv-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mpv-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mpv-dbg

Or similarly, like this mpv-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mpv-dbg
