How To Uninstall mricron-data On Debian 8

To uninstall mricron-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mricron-data

data files for MRIcronDebian 8.0science0.20140804.1~dfsg.1-1
sudo apt-get remove mricron-data

This will remove just the mricron-data package itself.

Uninstall mricron-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mricron-data

This will remove the mricron-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mricron-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mricron-data

Or similarly, like this mricron-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mricron-data
