How To Uninstall mricron On Debian 8

To uninstall mricron just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mricron

magnetic resonance image conversion, viewing and analysisDebian 8.0science0.20140804.1~dfsg.1-1
sudo apt-get remove mricron

This will remove just the mricron package itself.

Uninstall mricron and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mricron

This will remove the mricron package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mricron then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mricron

Or similarly, like this mricron

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mricron
