How To Uninstall mrtg-ping-probe On Debian 8

To uninstall mrtg-ping-probe just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mrtg-ping-probe

Ping module for Multi Router Traffic GrapherDebian 8.0net2.2.0-1
sudo apt-get remove mrtg-ping-probe

This will remove just the mrtg-ping-probe package itself.

Uninstall mrtg-ping-probe and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mrtg-ping-probe

This will remove the mrtg-ping-probe package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mrtg-ping-probe then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mrtg-ping-probe

Or similarly, like this mrtg-ping-probe

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mrtg-ping-probe
