How To Uninstall mruby On Debian 8

To uninstall mruby just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mruby

lightweight implementation of the Ruby languageDebian 8.0ruby1.0.0+20141015+gitb4cc962c-1
sudo apt-get remove mruby

This will remove just the mruby package itself.

Uninstall mruby and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mruby

This will remove the mruby package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mruby then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mruby

Or similarly, like this mruby

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mruby
