How To Uninstall mscompress On Debian 8

To uninstall mscompress just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mscompress

Microsoft "compress.exe/expand.exe" compatible (de)compressorDebian 8.0otherosfs0.4-3
sudo apt-get remove mscompress

This will remove just the mscompress package itself.

Uninstall mscompress and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mscompress

This will remove the mscompress package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mscompress then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mscompress

Or similarly, like this mscompress

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mscompress
