How To Uninstall mscore On Debian 8

To uninstall mscore just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mscore

Dummy transitional package for musescoreDebian 8.0oldlibs1.3+dfsg1-0.1
sudo apt-get remove mscore

This will remove just the mscore package itself.

Uninstall mscore and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mscore

This will remove the mscore package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mscore then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mscore

Or similarly, like this mscore

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mscore
