How To Uninstall msn-pecan-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall msn-pecan-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just msn-pecan-dbg

debugging symbols for msn-pecanDebian 8.0debug0.1.3-1
sudo apt-get remove msn-pecan-dbg

This will remove just the msn-pecan-dbg package itself.

Uninstall msn-pecan-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove msn-pecan-dbg

This will remove the msn-pecan-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for msn-pecan-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge msn-pecan-dbg

Or similarly, like this msn-pecan-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove msn-pecan-dbg
