How To Uninstall multiboot On Debian 8

To uninstall multiboot just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just multiboot

The Multiboot specificationDebian 8.0doc0.6.96+20101113-1
sudo apt-get remove multiboot

This will remove just the multiboot package itself.

Uninstall multiboot and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove multiboot

This will remove the multiboot package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for multiboot then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge multiboot

Or similarly, like this multiboot

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove multiboot
