How To Uninstall multimail On Debian 8

To uninstall multimail just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just multimail

Offline reader for Blue Wave, QWK, OMEN and SOUPDebian 8.0mail0.49-2
sudo apt-get remove multimail

This will remove just the multimail package itself.

Uninstall multimail and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove multimail

This will remove the multimail package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for multimail then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge multimail

Or similarly, like this multimail

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove multimail
