How To Uninstall multimedia-tasks On Debian 8

To uninstall multimedia-tasks just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just multimedia-tasks

Debian Multimedia tasks for taskselDebian 8.0misc0.2
sudo apt-get remove multimedia-tasks

This will remove just the multimedia-tasks package itself.

Uninstall multimedia-tasks and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove multimedia-tasks

This will remove the multimedia-tasks package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for multimedia-tasks then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge multimedia-tasks

Or similarly, like this multimedia-tasks

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove multimedia-tasks
