How To Uninstall mumble-server On Debian 8

To uninstall mumble-server just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mumble-server

Low latency encrypted VoIP serverDebian 8.0sound1.2.8-2
sudo apt-get remove mumble-server

This will remove just the mumble-server package itself.

Uninstall mumble-server and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mumble-server

This will remove the mumble-server package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mumble-server then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mumble-server

Or similarly, like this mumble-server

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mumble-server
