How To Uninstall murmur On Debian 8

To uninstall murmur just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just murmur

PyGTK2 client for Museekd, the P2P Soulseek DaemonDebian 8.0net1:0.2+svn20100315.r1208-3
sudo apt-get remove murmur

This will remove just the murmur package itself.

Uninstall murmur and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove murmur

This will remove the murmur package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for murmur then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge murmur

Or similarly, like this murmur

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove murmur
