How To Uninstall music123 On Debian 8

To uninstall music123 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just music123

Command-line shell for sound-file playersDebian 8.0sound16.3-6+b1
sudo apt-get remove music123

This will remove just the music123 package itself.

Uninstall music123 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove music123

This will remove the music123 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for music123 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge music123

Or similarly, like this music123

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove music123
