How To Uninstall musl On Debian 8

To uninstall musl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just musl

standard C libraryDebian 8.0libs1.1.5-2+deb8u1
sudo apt-get remove musl

This will remove just the musl package itself.

Uninstall musl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove musl

This will remove the musl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for musl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge musl

Or similarly, like this musl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove musl
