How To Uninstall mustang-testdata On Debian 8

To uninstall mustang-testdata just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mustang-testdata

multiple structural alignment of proteins, test dataDebian 8.0science3.2.2-1
sudo apt-get remove mustang-testdata

This will remove just the mustang-testdata package itself.

Uninstall mustang-testdata and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mustang-testdata

This will remove the mustang-testdata package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mustang-testdata then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mustang-testdata

Or similarly, like this mustang-testdata

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mustang-testdata
