How To Uninstall mutextrace On Debian 8

To uninstall mutextrace just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mutextrace

Lock debugging toolDebian 8.0devel0.1-1
sudo apt-get remove mutextrace

This will remove just the mutextrace package itself.

Uninstall mutextrace and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mutextrace

This will remove the mutextrace package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mutextrace then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mutextrace

Or similarly, like this mutextrace

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mutextrace
