How To Uninstall mxallowd On Debian 8

To uninstall mxallowd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mxallowd

Anti-Spam-Daemon using nolisting/iptablesDebian 8.0mail1.9-2
sudo apt-get remove mxallowd

This will remove just the mxallowd package itself.

Uninstall mxallowd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mxallowd

This will remove the mxallowd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mxallowd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mxallowd

Or similarly, like this mxallowd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mxallowd
