How To Uninstall mydumper On Debian 8

To uninstall mydumper just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mydumper

High-performance MySQL backup toolDebian 8.0database0.6.1-1
sudo apt-get remove mydumper

This will remove just the mydumper package itself.

Uninstall mydumper and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mydumper

This will remove the mydumper package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mydumper then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mydumper

Or similarly, like this mydumper

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mydumper
