How To Uninstall myrepos On Debian 8

To uninstall myrepos just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just myrepos

tool to manage all your version control reposDebian 8.0vcs1.20141024
sudo apt-get remove myrepos

This will remove just the myrepos package itself.

Uninstall myrepos and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove myrepos

This will remove the myrepos package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for myrepos then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge myrepos

Or similarly, like this myrepos

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove myrepos
