How To Uninstall myspell-ga On Debian 8

To uninstall myspell-ga just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just myspell-ga

Irish (Gaeilge) dictionary for OpenOffice and MozillaDebian 8.0text2.0-22
sudo apt-get remove myspell-ga

This will remove just the myspell-ga package itself.

Uninstall myspell-ga and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove myspell-ga

This will remove the myspell-ga package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for myspell-ga then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge myspell-ga

Or similarly, like this myspell-ga

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove myspell-ga
