How To Uninstall mysql-workbench-data On Debian 8

To uninstall mysql-workbench-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mysql-workbench-data

MySQL Workbench -- architecture independent dataDebian 8.0database6.2.3+dfsg-7
sudo apt-get remove mysql-workbench-data

This will remove just the mysql-workbench-data package itself.

Uninstall mysql-workbench-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mysql-workbench-data

This will remove the mysql-workbench-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mysql-workbench-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mysql-workbench-data

Or similarly, like this mysql-workbench-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mysql-workbench-data
