How To Uninstall mysqmail On Debian 8

To uninstall mysqmail just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mysqmail

real-time logging system in MySQLDebian 8.0mail0.4.9-10.1
sudo apt-get remove mysqmail

This will remove just the mysqmail package itself.

Uninstall mysqmail and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mysqmail

This will remove the mysqmail package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mysqmail then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mysqmail

Or similarly, like this mysqmail

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mysqmail
