How To Uninstall mytop On Debian 8

To uninstall mytop just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mytop

top like query monitor for MySQLDebian 8.0utils1.9.1-2
sudo apt-get remove mytop

This will remove just the mytop package itself.

Uninstall mytop and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mytop

This will remove the mytop package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mytop then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mytop

Or similarly, like this mytop

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mytop
