How To Uninstall mzclient On Debian 8

To uninstall mzclient just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just mzclient

CLI library for multicast DNS service discovery (commandline tool)Debian 8.0net0.9.0-4
sudo apt-get remove mzclient

This will remove just the mzclient package itself.

Uninstall mzclient and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove mzclient

This will remove the mzclient package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for mzclient then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge mzclient

Or similarly, like this mzclient

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove mzclient
