How To Uninstall nam-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall nam-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just nam-dbg

linuxdebug symboles of namdebug1.15-3.1~deb8u1
sudo apt-get remove nam-dbg

This will remove just the nam-dbg package itself.

Uninstall nam-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove nam-dbg

This will remove the nam-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for nam-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge nam-dbg

Or similarly, like this nam-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove nam-dbg
